World Book Day
Thursday 3rd March was World Book Day, a worldwide celebrated day and annual tradition at Isamilo. However this year, it was decided that one day was just not enough for our children so we had a whole week of it!
From Pre School to Year 6, all the children have been stuck into different activities! Mystery readers have surprised our students and shared their favourite books with them. We had a ‘Drop Everything And Read’ Day where the children had to sprint for their favourite book as soon as the surprise bell went. Each class had their own arts and crafts day based on their class book and everyone had the chance to look at each other’s amazing work. And of course, no World Book Day is complete without dressing up as our favourite book characters!
Keep up the great reading Primary!
