A home away from home boarding experience is always extremely difficult to establish given the different backgrounds, cultural dynamics and the diversity of personal needs the boarders come in with. However having said this I firmly believe that with the proper ethos driven by consistency and high standards of mutual respect we can achieve an amazing boarding environment where all students thrive and develop on social, personal and academic levels. I believe in fairness and if love and discipline is administered equally we will establish a very high level of understanding and thus achieve mutual respect for our beliefs, cultural heritage and uniqueness.
In short, I thrive on seeing young people grow and develop in their gifting and abilities and my role as mentor will be to guide them to achieve as much as they can in this regard and build a solid foundation for their lives based on good moral standards and principals of excellence. If you as a student have a desire and the motivation to become someone of substance this is the place for you and as a parent know that your child will be in good hands and will receive excellent care, love and attention.
We will endeavor to create a family environment with recreational activities and the space for relaxation and personal time. Outdoor activities are paramount to physical development and this will be included in the term program as well as outings and relevant social activities. Boarding at Isamilo will be an experience that every student will remember and cherish. My motto is short and real.
